Rumors are circulating that Glavine may be returning to the Atlanta Braves. I'd pperssonally love to see that happen now that we've gotten rid of the over-paid Andruw Jones.

Yup, it's confirmed, he just signed a one year $8 million dollar deal to return to the Braves.

Quote
After turning down a $13 million option with the Mets for 2008, taking a $3 million buyout, he turned his attention toward the Braves. He gave Atlanta a hometown discount, agreeing to an $8 million, one-year deal that was the lowest he was willing to play for and wasn't available to anyone.

Thats's great news the Glavine is returning to the Braves for his last season.

David (the Commiddioner) told me that the Baves traded Edgar Renteria to the tiger for tow unestablished young pitcherd. This has me very upset with the Braves. I also was told the Brsves tried to sign Mike Lowell of Boston anf ofered him millions of dollars more than his beantown contract but I figgure he wants to stay with the Sox.

The chhoices are gettin slim for who is going to Andruw Jones' position on the Braves staff but Bobby Cox was platooning Francoeur, Diaz and Willie all year last year. Maybe the old man needs to stick with his choices.

I think this is Bobby Cox, John  Smoltz and Glavine;'s last year.
