I think David Wright has worked his tail off to earn this. Even though I dislike the Mets strongly, I can't dis a player for the team he's on especially the way players move aroud these days.

Matt Holliday has been on fire the last few games, the guy is showing some serious potential.

I'll pick Barry Bonds because he showed he was really a star. He is still a great player at his age.

There's no cubs on the list. What about Derek Lee ? I guess the Cubs are a team and not based around a single player's performance.

There's no Cubs on the list because they suck. What's Derek Lee done this year? He's not even a team leader in anything. Face it, the Cubs are and awlays be "the scrubs".

I picked Matt Holliday, that kid has class. I wish the Reds would get rid of Griffey for someone like him or Ryan Braun or Hanley Ramirez.

thanks for seeing the error of your ways and adding Rollins to the poll. Now I finally voted. seriously, thank you. Jimmy Rollins has been the lifeblood of the team this  year. He's just an all around great guy. i'm sure all of us Phils fams really appreciate it.

I could ask the Phillies to keep me on to add to my statistics, but my love for the game won't let me do that.

It's pretty obvious after todays game that holliday is going to get the MVP(and rightfully so).

He did lead his team to victory but so did Jimmy Rollins. I guess the real decideing factor will be this weeks matchup between the Phils and Rockies. Have to admit, bit teams came on strong the last 20 games.

The deciding factor is the reg season not post season.  Holliday leads in RBI's and batting average and was player of the month in september to get them to the playoffs and in tiebreaker(which is considered a reg season game stat wise).
